Who provides the tool
Circular Frame Simulator is published by Nicholas Noye for orthopaedic education and frame-design training. It does not require an account on this website.
Information used by the web simulator
You may add de-identified teaching/example radiographs, type or dictate a construct, configure the 3D model and create a printable learning worksheet. The website processes this material within the active browser page. The publisher does not intentionally receive, upload to an application server, or store it.
Do not enter names, dates of birth, record numbers or other identifying information. You are responsible for having authority to use any material you provide.
Microphone and speech recognition
If you select microphone dictation, transcription is provided by your browser or device. Depending on that provider and its settings, audio may be processed by its speech service. Circular Frame Simulator does not operate a separate audio server and does not intentionally retain the audio or transcript after the browser session.
Optional ChatGPT image workflow
The separate ChatGPT workflow can create a more detailed educational 2D illustration from de-identified teaching/example AP and lateral radiographs. This happens only when you deliberately attach those files to ChatGPT. The files are then processed by OpenAI under your ChatGPT account, settings and applicable OpenAI terms. The simulator website and its publisher do not receive or store those attachments through a separate backend.
Technical data
The site contains no publisher-operated advertising trackers or analytics. The hosting provider may process ordinary request and security information, such as IP address, browser details and timestamps, as needed to deliver and protect the site.
Retention and your controls
The simulator does not create a publisher-controlled record. Uploaded image previews are released when you replace or clear them, close the page or end the browser session. You can also clear browser site data. A PDF is created or shared only when you choose to print, save or send it.
For files deliberately attached in ChatGPT, use the data and conversation controls available in your ChatGPT account.
Disclosure and sale
The publisher does not sell simulation content, use it for advertising or disclose it to third parties through an application backend. Data may still be processed by the browser, device, hosting provider or ChatGPT as described above.
